Anyone who has visual verification on their blog (I'm looking at you and you, especially), I can't comment... couldn't yesterday or the day before either. The box just says visual verification, and doesn't give me any letters to try to decipher (which I'm never much good at anyways and have to retry at least three times). Arrgghh! I feel so silenced. So, to rectify this, my oh so pressing and important comments:

And Mouse, anytime I have anything I'm behind on, I always go straight for those very important kinds of things. I love thinking of baby's names... I loved checking out all the name website and email Sugar Daddy at work every hour with new suggestions... I like B&P's idea!

Yeah, blogger has been such a pain the last few days. I hate it when I can't comment.
I'm conflicted about the verification. I started getting some annoying spam comments before I turned it on, which was my motivation. But then I find it gives me illegible letter combinations for my own comments on my own blog. Grumble, grumble.
I will also be working on B&P's idea. We're far from even a working list, but I'll do a preliminary run soon.
So it is not just me and my bad eyes, then? Good to know.
Yeah visual verification fucks me up too. Sometimes I can find salvation by emptying my cache. I don't know why this works - but I'm on a Mac, using Safari so things are wonky for me.
I've had the VV off on my site for several weeks with no spam.
I was thinking of you on Friday night - I was watching the Dead Zone and kept wondering, "hmmm, now who was it that had her reception in that hall?" If something odd turns up on your google analytics you'll know it was me.
I'm kinda happy to learn it wasn't just me that blogger was messing with. Not that I'm paranoid or anything...
I don't have it!! Getting spammed like a mother, but I don't have it. Hate it, actually.
It isn't working for me either on other blogs! Thank you for not enabling it! There are lots of blogs with stuff on Big Brown that I want to comment on, but alas, I cannot. I hate visual verification. Also, clicking the handicap button to "hear" the sounds does NOTHING!
