I wish I could figure out how to embed a slide show here, because I'm betting that the idea of Lunenburg's parking meters is not compelling enough to get you to click away and then come back again and give me your opinion. Ah well... for the small minority of you who are curious, check it out here.
So??? What do you think?
Send them to the recycle bin or put them up for sale?

i quite like the first one!
I like them.
Despite my giggling at the time, that set turned out pretty awesome.
Shows how much I know about photography. :)
I love the way you can turn something as seemingly pedestrian as a parking meter into art (yeah, I clicked over and came back). I really like the one reflecting in the window. Very cool.
You amaze me. Excellent.
I like the one with the old guy, and the shadow with the beer can.
and, yes, your choice of subject is fascinating.
They're like droll little aliens who've lost all sense of context in their twee landscape. I loved the shadow alone with the beer can.
I've lived near Lunenburg my whole life and never once noticed the parking meters. These are beautiful shots, and it amazes me that you saw what they could be and put together this incredible series.
Without question: up for sale! I love the way the colours and effects you've used on the photos add to the aged, weathered appearance of the parking meters and seem to cement them in their particular environment. I can guarantee that parking meters will be capturing more of my attention now.
Ok, Morrigan - I've posted them at Imagekind... they have their own gallery. You can get to imagekind through my sidebar thingie, but you'll need to click on my name to see the galleries available, then click the Lunenburg gallery.
sell! sell!
they're lovely. i like their deco shapes.
i think they are great--definitely put them up for sale.
I'm hijacking your comments to let you know I posted the link to last night's music :o)
Love it! (Me, I've always had a thing for no-parking signs ...)
The first one is fantastic. the colour, everything about it I just love.
Those are brilliant.
beautiful work.
I like the ones with the old guy, the house reflected in the window and "access at rear" the best - but they're all great. They'd make a cool show.
Sell for sure. They are fabulous!
